Danny Brind netted twice for Berinsfield, but they went down to a shock 3-2 home defeat to struggling Wootton & Dry Sandford in North Berks League Division 1.

Frankie Haines hit a hat-trick for defending champions Saxton Rovers in their 5-2 home win over Faringdon Town.

Kyle Allsworth and Richard Peirson also scored for Saxton, with James Hopgood grabbing two for Faringdon in reply. Crowmarsh Gifford won the battle of the bottom two 5-2 at home to Lambourn Sports.

Mike Elliot scored twice for Lambourn, but Jordan Sandiford hit two for Crowmarsh alongside one each for Matt Nathanielsz, Tim Holtom and Howard Hawkins.

Abingdon United Res moved back level on points at the top of Division 2 following their 4-1 win at Faringdon Town Res thanks largely to a Ross Tabor three-timer.

Aaron Andrews scored their fourth, with Dan Oyston replying.

Shane Northcott struck twice for Marcham as they won 5-2 at home to Saxton Rovers Res.

Despite a Neil McMahon double and a Josh Bourton effort, Westminster missed a chance to go top of Division 3 as they went down 4-3 at home to Dorchester Res who scored through Josh Axtell (2), Josh Nicholls and Alex Kerry.

Simon Harris (2), Matt Woodside and James Bishop netted for Hanney United who won 4-1 at Harwell International Res, for whom Tom Smith scored.

Kennington Athletic were unable to stop Turnpike Sports’ relentless march at the top of Division 4.

Sports won 6-0 with Mark Davis and Chris Maja both scoring twice alongside goals from Nick Brookes and Martin Amor.

Grove Rangers lost ground, despite a Mark Smith penalty, as they flopped 3-1 at home to Drayton Res, for whom Aaron Scully bagged two and James Ivey one.

Berinsfield Res won 4-1 at Ardington & Lockinge Res thanks in a large part to a Charlie Jamieson hat-trick and an Ollie Barton strike. Luke Faircloth responded.

Chris Beesley and Kevin Thimbleby scored for East Hendred Res in their 2-1 win over Hagbourne United, for whom Kevin Williams scored.

It is seven up for Uffington United at the top of Division 5 as their perfect start continued with a 5-0 win at Hagbourne United Res.

George Heath bagged a brace, with Jamie Glock, Chris Pentecost and Louis Butler all scoring one each.
