Keeper King rules as Harwell & Hendred win shoot-out
FOOTBALL: Harwell & Hendred Under 14s are all smiles after winning the Wantage FC pre-season youth tournament.
In the final they defeated Reading FC JPL, from Swindon, in a tense penalty shoot-out following a goalless draw.
After missing a penalty to win in normal time, Harwell triumphed after their keeper Cameron King pulled off a stunning sudden-death save to clinch a 4-3 victory on penalties.
The tournament attracted strong sides from across four counties.
