George Reid scored twice as Abingdon United ended their five-game goal drought with a 2-0 win over Wokingham & Emmbrook in the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division.
They struggled to create chances until Reid was fouled in the area on the stroke of half-time.
However, his penalty was saved by Sean Woodward.
After the break, Reid made amends for his earlier miss.
Jack Wright raced down the wing and pulled the ball back for Reid, who turned and fired into the bottom corner.
Abingdon sealed victory in stoppage time when Reid slid the ball past Woodward.
Milton United lost 2-1 at Highmoor Ibis.
In the Berks & Bucks Intermediate Cup, Division 1 West side Letcombe eased past Saxton Rovers 3-0.
Richie Claydon (2) and Dan Hoskin found the net.
