Jack Longford was sent off as Didcot Town slumped to a 4-1 defeat at home to AFC Totton on Saturday.

The loss leaves the Railwaymen 12th in Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West.

Didcot started brightly with Mark Janes twice firing wide.

But just before the break, the visitors took the lead when Dylan Knight scored from close range.

And it was 2-0 on 49 minutes when Neil Williams slotted past Leigh Bedwell.

Nick Watts added a third for the visitors, but Didcot hit back on 69 minutes when Janes headed home.

But following the goal, substitute Longford was booked after an altercation with goalkeeper Steve Mowthorpe and minutes later he was shown a second yellow card for an off-the-ball incident.

The visitors then made it four through Dave Allen’s goal.
