United need to win most of their remaining matches to get out of the bottom two, while four could go down.

Cameron Hawtin smashed a shot inside the far post to put Abingdon ahead in the 22nd minute.

Nomads equalised a minute before half time when Matt Peake-Pijner swept home.

Matt Woodley scored the winning goal 15 minutes from time.

Abingdon had a chance to snatch a point, but Siyanda Gila smacked his effort straight at the keeper.
