LETCOMBE missed an early penalty as they lost 3-2 at home to North Leigh United in Uhlsport Hellenic League Division 1 West.
After Tom West’s spot-kick was saved, Letcombe took the lead five minutes later through Owen Shaw.
The hosts were still leading 1-0 at the break.
But North Leigh took charge in the second half with goals from Tyrone Lee (2) and Connor Tinsley to go 3-1 in front.
Sean Webb pulled a goal back for Letcombe but they were unable to find an equaliser.
l Vale of White Horse Under 13s bowed out of the English Schools FA PlayStation Inter-association Trophy when losing 6-3 to a powerful Aldershot & Farnborough side at Milton United.
With three players missing and two others injured early on, Vale struggled and trailed 3-1 at half-time.
George Cox had equalised for the home side, but Aldershot doubled their score after the break.
Josh Hedges netted twice for Vale – one from the penalty spot – to no avail.
