BERINSFIELD are celebrating after reaching the final of Oxfordshire Intermediate Cup final.
The North Berks League club post a 3-1 victory over an Oxford City Development side in the semi-final thanks to a brace of goals from Max Palmer and a late Mark Ingram penalty.
In the final, they will face Oxford City Nomads, who won 4-3 after extra time away to Kidlington Res in the other semi-final.
The teams were level 3-3 after 90 minutes.
l With only 11 players available due to injury, Letcombe were pleased with their 2-0 victory away to New College Swindon in Division 1 West of the Uhlsport Hellenic League.
Letcombe, who had 16-year-old Dan Stokell making his first start and assistant manager Luke Stone playing his first full game for a year, took the lead after 21 minutes.
Luke Faircloth ran onto a through pass and drove a low shot inside the post from 20 yards.
New College dominated possession during the second half, but a well-organised Letcombe defence, with Andy Goodchild excelling, gave them few scoring opportunities.
The hosts continued to press forward, but Letcombe made the game safe three minutes from time.
Owen Shaw laid the ball square for Jared Jones to drive the ball home from 20 yards.
