FOOTBALL: Letcombe slip to fifth after Easington Sports defeat
LETCOMBE slipped to fifth in Uhlsport Hellenic League Division 1 West when they lost 2-1 at home to close rivals Easington Sports.
Alex Fragata put the hosts ahead, but Andrew Stidder equalised.
Easington clinched victory when Antoni Torres took advantage of a slip from home skipper Andy Goodchild.
l St Birinus retained the Vale of White Horse Schools FA under 12 a-side tournament at Faringdon, when they beat Icknield 2-1 with a golden goal in the final.
