DIDCOT Town maintained their play-off push with a 5-1 victory over Bishops Cleeve last night.

The win means Andy Ballard’s side are only out of the Evo-Stik South League West Division’s top five on goal difference.

The Railwaymen took the lead when Stuart Cattell netted from close range, but basement side Bishops Cleeve levelled through Ieuan Crowe.

George Jeacock restored the visitors’ lead before half-time, converting a penalty after Marlon Agyakwa was brought down in the box.

And after the break Didcot’s class showed.

Morgan Williams found the net either side of Callum McNish’s double to secure victory.

North Leigh’s battle to beat relegation was given a big boost with a 3-1 success at Mangotsfield United.

The Millers trailed to Adam Kelly’s 36th-minute strike.

But they hit back to level through George Seacole three minutes later.

They claimed a much-needed victory when Declan Sheppard (50) and Josh Thomas (85) scored after the break.

In the East Division, Thame United went down 4-1 away to Moneyfields.

The hosts went ahead through Curtis DaCosta, before Sam Pearce doubled the advantage.

Dan West pulled a goal back, but Joe Briggs’s deflected effort and Daniel Woodward’s strike gave the hosts victory.
