Match official Keith Cannock pulled a leg muscle on 48 minutes, which meant he was unable to continue.

As the game had not passed the hour mark, the result cannot stand and the sides will replay at a later date.

Gosford led via a Ben Bodinham try after good work by half backs Will Watts and Bill Smith.

James Hoskyns-Jones, Dan Corne, Will Lane, Kevin Wood and Mark Baker all went over inside 30 muinutes, Mike Phillips converting two.

Risborough reduced the arrears to 29-24. Tries from Hoskyns-Jones and Ryan Hodnett, Phillips converting the latter, either side of a Risborough score, made it 41-29, but the visitors levelled it late on.

Faringdon were pipped 17-16 at home to Berkshire Shire Hall.

The hosts led 13-0 at the break, with flanker Jack Haydon scoring a try converted by fly half Darren Clark, who also kicked two penalties.

Shire Hall hit back with a converted try and a penalty before Clark slotted a third three-pointer.

The visitors bagged a second converted try on 75 minutes, while Clark was short with a long-range penalty.
