More than 650 children took part in Oxfordshire’s tag rugby festival at Gosford All Blacks on Sunday.

Under 7 and 8 teams played in trophy, cup, bowl and plate competitions.

Over 3,000 tries were scored on the day, while London Welsh players Carl Kirwan and Tristan Roberts attended the event.

Ian Barratt, director at Gosford, said: “It went very well, it was a fantastic day all round.

“There were compliments around the day, but the most important feedback was from the smiling faces of the children as they left.”
