BICESTER must wait and see if they are awarded victory after their Southern Counties North clash at Walingford was abandoned.

The visitors led 26-14 with nine minutes to go when replacement flanker Joey Sibun collapsed with a neck injury.

He was taken to hospital, but tests revealed no fracture.

Dave Hampton crossed to give Bicester an early lead, Tom Miles converting.

Miles added a penalty, but Wallingford replied with a try from scrum half Phil Dawes, which he also converted Two penalties from Miles stretched Bicester’s lead to 16-7 at half-time, and he added another just after the interval.

Mike Harris then jinked over for a try which Miles converted to make it 26-7.

Wallingford hit back when Pete McKinley touched down and Phil Dawes converted, until the game was halted by Sibun’s injury.

Miles Johnson went over for a hat-trick of tries as Gosford All Blacks beat Tadley 36-15 in the BB&O Premier Division.

The impressive win over their third-place rivals sees Gosford maintain top spot.

Craig Raymond put the hosts in front with a penalty, before Johnson scored the first of his tries on 20 minutes.

Tim Ellis converted, but Tadley hit back through tries from Charlie Cox and Tom Bartlett, the latter converted by Raymond, to lead 15-7 at half-time.

However, a sensational second-half display saw Johnson cross twice more, with further tries coming from Joe Pigott and a superb Ben Bodinham effort. Ellis added three conversions and a penalty to seal a fine victory.

Abingdon lost 18-8 at home to Crowthorne.

In the BB&O Championship, Didcot claimed bragging rights with a derby 8-5 win over Harwell.

Josh Witts kicked a penalty before Matt Collings went over for a try to put the hosts 8-0 ahead at half-time.

Jordan Morrison set up a nervous final ten minutes when he crossed for Harwell, but Didcot held on.
