A BUOYANT Henley Hawks return to Dry Leas to play Bury St Edmunds tomorrow seven days after defeating National League 2 leaders Taunton Titans.

Hawks’ director of rugby Nigel Dudding called their 42-31 victory, which knocked Taunton off the top of the table, “our best performance for two seasons”.

Against Bury, Henley will be without loose-head prop Bradley Cook because of injury. His place will be taken by Joe Morris.

The only other change for the Hawks will be at centre where Alan Awcock, now available, takes over from Will Janes.

The new leaders are Chinnor after their 32-27 win at Barnstaple.

“Being top after just a third of the season means absolutely nothing,” said Chinnor’s director of rugby Matt Williams.

“The important thing is that we ‘ve come through a tough series of fixtures unbeaten and we’re now getting a lot of our injured players back.”

However, that does not include scrum half Greg Goodfellow, who it was confirmed this week, will be out for 12 weeks with torn ankle ligaments.

Chinnor make two changes as they host bottom club Wimbledon, who have lost all ten matches.

Orisi Nawaqaliva returns at centre, while Llewelyn Jones comes into the back row.

“With several of our first-choice players back, it’s a chance for them to bed in before six really tough fixtures in the run-up to Christmas,” added Williams.

Following their 20-7 victory over Bicester, Oxford Harlequins make three changes for the trip to Chippenham in South West 1 East.

Sam Watkinson returns to fly half, while Ramen Farahani is back at tight head and Tom Guthrie comes in at flanker.

Witney will be seeking a fifth straight win when they entertain Stratford-upon-Avon.

The only change from the side that defeated Marlow 26-16 sees Mark Fuller come in for Jamie Burke at prop.

Scrum half Paul Maryon makes his first start of the season for Grove in their match at home to Old Patesians, while Joe Bellinger, Ben Law, Connor Hull, Luke Matthews, Steve Dixey and Tom Clipsham all return.
