Nick Boreham scored four tries as Abingdon Under 13s claimed the Oxfordshire Plate with a convincing 31-0 win over a battling Oxford Harlequins in the final.

In a close first half, Abingdon opened the scoring in the 20th minute with 40-yard run to the line by Boreham.

Rory Garrett’s conversion made it 7-0 at half-time.

After the break Abingdon ran away with the game, despite Quins’ brave efforts.

There were three more tries from Nick Boreham and one from Jackson Burton – all run in from 40 yards,illustrating the side’s great pace.

Garrett added two more conversions to complete their tally.
