FELIPE Massa aims to finish the season on a high after he was disqualified from his home grand prix in Brazil on Sunday.
The Grove-based Williams driver was excluded from the race at Interlagos after his right rear tyre was believed to be more than the 110-degree Celsius limit before the start.
Williams have appealed against the decision.
Massa, who initially finished eighth, said before his exclusion: “We just need to finish the championship on a high now, with a much better result than I had here.”
Despite Massa’s non-finish, Valtteri Bottas’ fifth place helped Williams clinch third in the constructors’ championship for a second successive year.
The final race is in Abu Dhabi on November 29.
