WANTAGE Gymnastics Centre were celebrating this week after all four of their entrants won medals at the Oxfordshire Grades competition at Berinsfield.
Competing against 40 children from seven different club, Wantage’s Maia Fuller Garmendia and Grace Tonkin started the day by achieving huge scores of 63.30 and 62.50 out of 70 to claim gold and silver medals respectively.
Anna Wilkinson, representing Wantage at grade three, also claimed 1st place and the gold medal.
Elizabeth Rowland completed a successful day for the club by winning gold in grade 2.
All four gymnasts will be representing Oxfordshire at the regional championships in Portsmouth next month.
Head club coach Russell Smith said: ‘We are delighted for the girls, they have shown incredible hard work and dedication.
“They should feel very proud of what they have achieved today.”
