FELIPE Massa believes a strong result for Williams this weekend will bode well for the rest of the Formula 1 season.

The Grove-based outfit finished fourth and fifth at the Russian Grand Prix last month, so will head to Barcelona in good spirits.

The Spanish circuit provides a variety of challenges and Massa views it as an indicator for the rest of the campaign.

The Brazilian driver said: “It is a circuit that a good car overall normally goes well on because you have a little bit of every- thing – high-speed and low-speed corners.

“If the car works well here, it will work well on most of the tracks.

“I’m looking forward to having a good race there and hope that we can keep improving race by race, and keep scoring points.”
