EDDIE Pepperell withdrew during the third round of the Trophee Hassan II.
The Abingdon golfer made the cut by two shots at the European Tour event in Rabat, Morocco, with rounds of 73 and 74.
But Saturday’s third round began with a double bogey at the first and a triple bogey two holes later.
Pepperell continued to the sixth hole before pulling out of the tournament.
The 25-year-old has been managing a back problem, but will be hoping any injury is short-lived with the Irish Open next week.
