Oxford University women's powerlifting team with Claire Sear on the bench
POWERLIFTING: Abingdon’s Claire Sear is preparing to represent Great Britain at the first World University Powerlifting Cup in Belarus next month.
She is part of the Oxford University squad, who won the British title earlier this year to secure their place.
Sear, a PhD student, also competed in the Varsity Match to achieve a full Blue in the sport at Oxford.
