FELIPE Massa overcame problems with his car to come ninth in for the Grove-based Williams Formula 1 team in the Monaco Grand Prix.
Massa benefitted from an incident between Danil Kvyat and Sergio Perez late in the race to secure a points-scoring finish
He said: “We had brake issues from the start and I had to manage them from the very first lap.
“I’ve never had to do that before in my career!”
Teammate Lance Stroll retired on the 71st lap, due to the same problem.
