TWO young Abingdon Eagles players have been picked for the Southern England under 15 regional squad.
Dillon Bose, a pupil at King Alfred’s Academy, Wantage, and fellow 14 year-old Akira Harry, 14, who attends Bartholomew School in Eynsham, will join the 20-strong squad for intensive training in the run-up to the national tournament which takes place in Manchester in September.
“We are so proud of this achievement from these two extremely talented players,” said Eagles head coach Steve Claringbould.
“It is a real testament to their hard work and commitment both in games and training and is fully deserved.”
