Sam Coxon
MARTIAL ARTS: Sam Coxon, a shotokan karate student at Can Do Martial Arts in Abingdon, won an individual silver medal when representing England at the JKS Continental Cup in Belgium.
In an event that attracted 700 competitors from 20 countries, Coxon reached the final of the +75kg kumite competition, where he was beaten by an England colleague.
However, Coxon did help England to take gold in the team kumite competition.
