ABINGDON Conservative A players were in top form as they whitewashed hosts Oracle A 6-0 to go 12 points clear in Premier & Division 1 of the Gentworks Oxford & District Snooker League.

Karl Walker had impressive breaks of 45 and 48 in his 2-0 success against Adam Luck, while both Ross Barker and Mick Bennett recorded 30-plus runs in their wins.

Second-placed Littlemore RBL A, who had to come from behind to win 4-2 against Thame B, for whom Alan Pearce potted a three-quarter length pink to win the first frame against Stuart Fenwick.
