Didcot resident Karina Lang helped Great Britain’s s squad come sixth when they took on the world’s finest goalball exponents at the Malmo Lady Inter Cup.
The 26-year-old, who plays for Winchester, made her debut for the national women’s team during the four-day tournament held in Malmo, Sweden.
After being talent-spotted by Goalball UK, the only sport specifically designed for the blind and visually impaired (VI), Lang said: “It was an incredible experience.
“My target now is to keep working on my game so that I can become a permanent member of the GB team.”
