Fans of Leeds United football club hope to raise hundreds of pounds for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance charity at their annual race night in Ilkley.
Supporters’ group Ilkley Whites has chosen the helicopter ambulance charity as beneficiary of the fundraising night at the Hollygarth Social Club, Leeds Road, Ilkley, on April 12.
In previous years, the group has helped Ilkley boy Ben Smithson go to America for life-changing surgery, raising £1,800, and contributing £1,400 to Ilkley Candlelighters.
Members hope they can top these totals this year.
Leeds Whites meets every month at the Hollygarth, and arrange travel and tickets to Leeds United away games.
Tickets for the charity race night are £5, to include supper. Contact Richard Fox on 07947 581652 or Andy Dobson, steward at The Hollygarth, for details.
