Lifeboat sent to assist broken down barge
A LIFEBOAT was sent to assist a 60ft barge after it suffered engine trouble off the coast of Harwich.
Harwich RNLI were called to the Dutch barge at around 12.20am this morning.
It towed the barge, which was suffering from a broken down engine, to Ha’Penny Pier.
Crews were also called to broken down 30ft yacht, Little Imp, on Tuesday morning.
The yacht with three people on board had broken down off Felixstowe.
The inshore lifeboat towed the yacht to Shotley Point Marina.
