KEITH Hill will be expecting his side to make improvements defensively against Oxford United after being “disgusted” with their display last weekend.
Only goal difference is keeping Rochdale out of the Sky Bet League One relegation zone after they lost 4-3 to Bradford City at Valley Parade.
And Hill (pictured), whose second spell at Spotland started in 2013, did not pull any punches in his analysis of the display – particularly in the way two of the Bantams’ goals came via set-pieces.
He said: “We do our due diligence and we plan all week but it gets thrown out of the window by bad decisions and we get heavily punished.
“It’s probably the most disappointed I’ve ever been as a manager at Rochdale.
“It’s hard for me.
“I may as well just stay at home all week, turn up on Saturday and then just put the names into a hat and tell the players to go out and play DIY football – because the set-play organisation is a sad reflection on me and my staff.”
He added: “ I’m disgusted with some of the player decisions, really disgusted, at key components times within a game.
“It’s as though they don’t want to do it.
