OXFORD United captain Jake Wright has undergone a scan on his troublesome back injury.
The centre back suffered a back spasm in the 3-2 defeat to Barnet on October 24 and missed United's victory at Stevenage as well as Sunday's Emirates FA Cup tie at Braintree Town.
Head coach Michael Appleton said: "He has not trained since coming off against Barnet.
"He had a scan on Saturday so we will have a better idea when we get the results."
Appleton also revealed top-scorer Kemar Roofe, who sat out Sunday's cup tie, has undergone a precautionary scan on his shoulder.
The forward damaged a ligament during a fall against Bristol Rovers in September, but has been playing through the pain.
Appleton said: "We are not expecting to find anything if we are being honest, other than obviously for his own piece of mind."
It has been confirmed United's FA Cup replay against Braintree will be played on Tuesday, November 17.
