Wilder and Craddock miss out on monthly accolade

Oxford United duo Chris Wilder and Tom Craddock have missed out on the npower League Two monthly awards.

Wilder was shortlisted for manager of the month, but that accolade went to Cheltenham boss Mark Yates.

And Craddock, who scored six goals in October, was beaten by Port Vale's Ashley Vincent to the player of the month honour.

I suspect that 'fourth division' player of the month has never been won by a centre back or a full back or a keeper or by any player who has not netted many in the month. When you don't attend United games and listen to the commentaries have you ever heard Nick Harris ever use the words 'centre half' without preceding them with the word 'big' - narr you have not. It is a compulsory 'three word sequence' of his - rather CW being obsessed with using saying "football club" when the first of those words is unnecessary
