DEREK Fazackerley cut a frustrated figure as his Oxford United side fell to a third straight home defeat when losing 1-0 to Plymouth Argyle at the Kassam Stadium.
Sonny Bradley’s header at the end of the first half proved the difference in a Sky Bet League One game the U's were more than competitive in.
The hosts huffed and puffed throughout, with Alex Mowatt firing over, before Jon Obika and Ryan Ledson saw efforts blocked after the break.
United’s caretaker boss Fazackerley was annoyed at the nature of Argyle's winner which came from a corner in the third minute of added time in the first half.
He said: “I’m hugely disappointed with that.
“We pretty much dominated the first half and the second and offered them very few opportunities.
“I know we cleared one off the line and Ryan Taylor hit the bar, but they were very sporadic attacks that they had.
“We were camped pretty much in their half for most of the game, but unfortunately we could not find the finish and when that happens you get beat.”
