Gok Wan is set to swap his wok and makeovers for love as he takes on a new dating show.

The former fashion stylist, who presents Channel 4's cooking programme Gok Cooks Chinese, has been announced as the host of eight-part series Baggage.

Contestants must choose and reject potential partners who gradually reveal their hidden secrets and crazy flaws - kept in suitcases - in the dating game show.

Channel 4 has several other new entertainment shows planned, including celebrity Million Pound Drop specials - starring Jedward, Steps, Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer, Professor Green and Frankie Cocozza, reported The Sun.

Justin Gorman, Head of Entertainment Channel 4, said: "These new shows are a great example of how Channel 4 entertainment can deliver really innovative and exciting formats.

"In addition to our commissions I'm very excited about the many new development ideas we are working on and look forward to announcing further commissions later this year."
