CARTER Peter Passed away peacefully on the 17th September 2020, aged 81 years. Retired Physicist, UKAEA Harwell. Formerly from Riby, Lincolnshire. Will be sadly missed by his wife Joan, children Valerie, Richard and Jenny. Sons-in-Law Kevin and Mark and daughter-in-law Paula, beloved Grandchildren Oliver, Tegan and Rosie. Funeral Service to be held at South Oxfordshire Crematorium on Monday 12th October at 12.00noon. Family flowers only. My condolences to Joan and all the family. Peter was a very well respected professional working at AEA Technology Sonomatic. I had the privilege to visit many countries with Peter who trained hundreds of engineers. He was a superb lecturer/teacher and an expert in his field but also a kind and gentle man and many will recall his humour and kind demeanour. He will be sadly missed x RIP
