NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF AN ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL [FOOTPATH SP-534 FORMERLY FOOTPATH 27, IN THE PARISH OF STOKE PRIOR]
PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP
AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2014
On 6 December 2016 The Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs confirmed the above Order made under Section 118 of the Highways Act 1980 and will modify the definitive map and statement for the area by diverting the following:-FOOTPATH SP-534
Diverting the length and entire width of footpath SP-534, in the parish of Stoke Prior, commencing at Ordnance Survey grid reference (OSGR) SO 9629 6851 at the junction of footpaths SP-536 and SP-537. The path proceeds in a generally east north easterly direction for approximately 267 metres crossing a field to OSGR SO 9653 6862 where it terminates at the
junction of footpaths SP-532, SP-533 and SP-508. The total distance of footpath to be extinguished is approximately 267 metres.
The diverted length of footpath SP-534, in the parish ofStoke Prior, has a width of3 metres and commences at OSGR SO 9629 6851. The path proceeds in a generally north easterly direction for approximately 274 metres along a field edge to terminate at its junctionwithfootpathSP-532andSP-585atOSGRSO 9644 6874. The total distance of the footpath is approximately274 metres.
A copy of the Order as confirmed, and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP and at Bromsgrove District Council Customer Service Centre, Parkside Market Street, Bromsgrove, B61 8DA on Mondays to Fridays during normal office hours. CopiesoftheOrderandmapmaybeboughtatCounty Hall, Worcester at the price of £7.50. The Order comes into force on 12 June 2019 but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the HighwaysAct1980asamendedoronthegroundthat any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulationmadeundertheActhasnotbeencomplied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act within 6 weeks from the date of this Notice make an application to the High Court.
