NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF AN ORDER PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980, WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 The Oxfordshire County Council, Pyrton Footpath No. 9 (part), Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement

Modification Order 2018 On 4th July 2019, the Oxfordshire County Council confirmed the above Order, made on 18th October 2018, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by diverting 20m of Pyrton Fp 9 that runs from Knightsbridge Lane south-westwards across the immediate curtilage of the private dwelling 'The Plough' to a line running for 47m from Knightsbridge Lane opposite Pyrton Br 7 south-westwards, generally south-eastwards and then south-south-westwards around the outside of the property's garden to re-join the existing route of the footpath as shown on the Order map. Oxfordshire County Council, Countryside Records, County Hall, New Road, Oxford OX11ND at the price of £3.50 per copy. The Order came into force on the date of confirmation but if any person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980 (the Act), as amended, and/or the powers of section 53A of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 (WCA) or on the ground that any requirement of either Act or of any regulation made under them has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act and as applied by s53A(7) WCA, within six weeks from 8th August 2019 make an application to the High Court.
