NOTICE OF MODIFICATION ORDER SECTION 53 OF THE WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 The Oxfordshire County Council Definitive Map and Statement of Public Rights of Way
for Oxfordshire Checkendon Footpath No. 40 Modification Order 2019 The above Order made on the 20 September 2019, if confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by:-
Adding a footpath from Neal's Lane, Checkendon at grid reference SU 6792 8317, north north east for approximately 510 metres to grid reference SU 6812 8363 then east for approximately 50 metres to the boundary with Common Wood at grid reference SU 6816 8362.

Copies of the Order, the Order map and an explanatory statement may be purchased from the Countryside Records team, Oxfordshire County Council, Ground Floor, County Hall, Oxford OX1 1ND, at the price of £3.50 per copy. Any representation or objection relating to the order must be sent in writing to the Principal Officer, Countryside Records, Oxfordshire County Council, Ground Floor, County Hall, Oxford OX1 1ND, or
not later than 8th November 2019 and applicants are requested to state the grounds on which it is made. If no representations or objections are duly made to the order, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Oxfordshire County Council, instead of submitting the order to the Secretary of State may itself confirm the order. If the order is submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs any representations or objections which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent with it.
