(CHARLBURY AREA) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 20**

(CHARLBURY AREA) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 20**
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the order as a result of safety concerns by the town council, is as follows:
1.) to introduce a 20mph speed limit in the central area of the town. All roads within, and leading out to following terminal points will be included:
Hixet Wood -102 metres north of Five Ways

Grammar School Hill -115 metres south of Clarendon Court

Market Street -junction with Dyers Hill /Thames Street

Nine Acres Lane - 86 metres west of Enstone Road

B4022 Banbury Hill - 75 metres north of Hundley Way

Ditchley Road -170 metres northeast of Kearsey Court

B4022 The Slade - 28 metres south of Ditchley Road

Dancers Hill - its junction with B4022 Sturt Road. The above will replace the existing 30mph speed limit.

2.) On the B4022 Banbury Hill the 30mph speed limit is to be extend by 118 metres to a point 300 metres northeast of its junction with Hundley Way.
The existing Oxfordshire County Council (Charlbury Area) (Speed Limits) (No.2) Order 2011 will be revoked/replaced, Documents giving more details of the proposals are available for public inspection online by visiting:

Objections to the proposal and other representations specifying the grounds on which they are made may be sent in writing to the address below by 8 November 2019. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public. 2. (VALE OF WHITE HORSE DISTRICT (DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO.15*) ORDER 20**
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council
proposes to make the above orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the orders, as a result of congestion and to better manage waiting for Buses and other vehicles is as follows:
a. In Newbury Street outside the Blue Boar PH - removal of the area of No Waiting 8am to 6pm to provide space for disabled persons parking;

b. Outside No.3 Market Place - retention of a single Disabled Parking Place with the remainder of that layby becoming a Bus Stand;

c. There are corresponding adjustments to double yellow lines (Prohibition of Waiting at Any Time) to bring the proposed measures together.

(WANTAGE AND GROVE) (TRAFFIC REGULATION) (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2019
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 7 October 2019 Oxfordshire County Council made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The order, which comes into force on 14 October provides for a 10-metre-long Goods Vehicles only Loading Bay in School Lane, Grove in the layby on the south side of the road, to service the adjacent stores and businesses. It will operate between 7am and 7pm on all days, with a maximum stay of 1 hour and no return within 1 hour. Outside these hours there will be no restriction on parking.
The Oxfordshire County Council) (Wantage) (Traffic Regulation) Order 1994 (as amended) will be amended accordingly. Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for public inspection online by visiting:

If you wish to question the validity of this Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of this Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to this Order, you may within six weeks from the 7 October 2019 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
