NOTICE OF MAKING OF ORDER PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND
STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980, WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981
The Oxfordshire County Council, West Challow Footpath No 4 (part), Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order 2019.
The Order, made on 13th December 2019, if confirmed as made will modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by diverting 83m of West Challow Fp 4 running from the road at Coppice Leaze Farm at OS Grid Reference SU 3675 8864 northeastwards between the farmhouse and outbuilding to SU 3678 8867, and generally south-eastwards past the farmhouse along the drive and over the Challow Brook to SU 3681 8865 to a line avoiding the farmhouse running for 52m from the road at Manor Farm at SU 3679 8861 north-north-eastwards beside the Childrey Brook to SU 3680 8864, south-eastwards across the brook via a footbridge and then turning north-eastwards to again run beside Challow Brook to the farm drive at SU 3681 8865 (Point D) where it re-joins the existing path as shown on the Order map.

Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to the Principal Officer, Oxfordshire County Council, Countryside Records, County Hall, New Road, Oxford OX1 1ND not later than 14th February 2020. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Oxfordshire County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order. The County Council will consider all correspondence received in response to this Notice of the Order making. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.
