NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION AND COMING INTO OPERATION OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990, SECTION 257/261 AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF SCHEDULE 14

Public Path Diversion Order Town and Country Planning Act 1990 Section 257/261 The Oxfordshire County Council Finmere Bridleway No.7 (Part) - Public Path Temporary Diversion Order 2019

On 18th December 2019, Oxfordshire County Council confirmed the above Order, made on 4th November 2019, under section S257 and 261 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 ('The Act'). The effect of the Order is to temporarily divert until 30th September 2031 a 588m length of Finmere Br 7 from the dismantled railway running through Finmere Quarry (OS Grid Ref SP 6269 3194), past Finmere Plantation to join Finmere Br 6 at SP 6309 3228 to a line running from the same point at the railway (SP 6269 3194) around the south-western, southern and eastern boundaries of the working quarry to re-join Finmere Br 6 at SP 6309 3228 as shown on the Order map. A copy of the Order as confirmed and the Order map is available online

Copies of the Order, the Order map and an explanatory statement may be purchased from Oxfordshire County Council, Countryside Records, County Hall, New Road, Oxford OX11ND, at the price of £3.50 per Order. The Order came onto force on the date of confirmation but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within six weeks from the 23rd January 2020. The County Council will consider all correspondence, objections and representations received in response to this consultation. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public. Dated: 23rd January 2020
