(BICESTER) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 20**
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The Order will revoke/replace the Oxfordshire County Council the Oxfordshire County Council (Bicester Area) (Speed Limits) Order 2019. The proposal is to replace the 60mph unrestricted speed limit with 40mph on
Wendlebury Road, from its junction with the A41 dual carriageway (Garden Centre approach) southwards to 10 metres south of its junction with the link road to the A41/B4030 Vendee Drive roundabout, and along the full length of that link road.
A41 OXFORD ROAD (BICESTER) PROPOSED TOUCAN CROSSING & BUS STOP CLEARWAY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council as the local highway authority under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers proposes also proposes to construct the following features to help improve pedestrian safety in the area & facilitate public transport use: Toucan Crossing (a signalised crossing for use by pedestrians):
? approx. 75* metres north-east of the A41/Vendee Drive RBT junction.
Bus Stop Clearway (with a 'No Stopping except local buses' restriction):
? East side (southbound) - in existing layby, approx. 60 metres* north-east of the A41/Vendee Drive RBT junction.
? All dimensions are approximate, taken from the centre of the junction to the centre of the crossing.

Objections to the proposals specifying the grounds on which they are made and any other representations should be sent in writing to the address below no later than 21 February 2020. The Council will consider any objections and representations received in response to this notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.
