Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Sparsholt Village - 30 mph Speed Limit Date of Order: 2 March 2020 Coming into force: 9 March 2020 This Order is being introduced because of safety concerns regarding the site entrance to the development at Sparsholt Manor which is anticipated to take 18 months to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in excess of 30 mph between the junction of the B4507 and Sparsholt Village. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. The Schedule to the Oxfordshire County Council (Sparsholt Parish) (30 Miles per Hour Speed Limit) Order 2009 shall be temporarily amended for the duration of the works. (Ref.T7479/RAG)_
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Abingdon, Northcourt Road Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 17 February 2020 Coming into force: 24 February 2020 This Order is being introduced because of gas main replacement works which are anticipated to be completed on 13 March 2020. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in that part of Northcourt Road between the junctions of Shelly Close and Oxford Road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Northcourt Road, Oxford Road, Stratton Way, Bath Street, Wootton Road, Northcourt Road and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
