Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Tetsworth/Adwell, A40 Area
Prohibition of Through Traffic
Date of Order: 11 May 2020 Coming into force: 22 June 2020 This Order is being introduced because of roadside embankment and fencing works which is anticipated to take 5 months to be completed. The effect of the order is to temporarily prohibit through traffic using part of the A40 at Tetsworth north-westwards from its junction with the B4012 Thame Road.
There will also be a prohibition of HGVs over 7.5 tonnes from using the following side roads so as to remain on major routes: A40 Tetsworth northwards into the Moreton road; and the 2 roads into Moreton from the A329 Rycote Lane south of Thame. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services, access and for the works. The alternative route for traffic is via the B4012 from the A40 to Thame (ring road), A418 and A329 to A40 and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref. T7528/MR)_

Chalgrove, Rushy Furrow Lane
Prohibition of Through Traffic
Date of Order: 15 June 2020 Coming into force: 22 June 2020 This Order is being introduced because of a new water mains connection which is anticipated to be completed on 3 July 2020. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit through traffic proceeding in the whole length of Rushy Furrow Lane. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Monument Road-B480 and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner (Ref. Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Wytham, Thames Footpath Date of Order: 29 June 2020 Coming into force: 11 July 2020 This Order is being introduced because of culvert and channelling works which are anticipated to be completed on 30 October 2020. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily Thames Footpath from the Weir on Seacourt Stream to the North West riverbank. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of footpath. Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. The diversion route is via a parallel path outside the works area. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref. (VARIOUS ROADS - SOUTH OXFORDSHIRE) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND PERMITTED PARKING) (VARIATION NO.28) ORDER 2020
NOTICE is given that on 15 June 2020 Oxfordshire County Council made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all enabling legislation. This further amends the Oxfordshire County Council (Various Roads - South Oxfordshire) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Permitted Parking) Order 2008 with the following effect from 22 June. Double Yellow Lines (Prohibition of Waiting at Any Time) have been introduced in the following roads:
? Evenlode Drive -west side-from Cow Lane to be extended from 25 to 36 metres.

? Tyne Avenue -both sides-from Cow Lane to a point 18 metres northwest of its junction with Swarbourne Close.

? Cow Lane - both sides, additional double yellow lines between Tyne Avenue and Longford Way; Except on the west side there are 2 areas of 'waiting prohibited for 1 hour between Noon and 1pm Monday to Saturday', with no restriction outside this time.

If you wish to question the validity of this Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of this Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to this Order, you may within six weeks from 15 June 2020 apply to the High Court for this purpose.

(MILTON, ABINGDON) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2020
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 15 June 202 Oxfordshire County Council made the above orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the orders, which come into force on 22 June is as follows:
1) to extend the 30mph limit by 80 metres leading from High Street, Milton northwards into Milton Road to a point 135 metres north of the Sutton Road junction. This reduces the existing 40 mph limit;

2) to extend the 30mph limit by a further 80 metres in Sutton Road past Heather Road, and continue with a 40mph limit to the Sutton Courtenay Parish boundary, a distance of 365 metres.

The existing Milton and Drayton Speed Limit Orders of 2019 and 2014 are revoked and replaced to reflect the changes and to realign each to the Parish boundary. Documents giving more details of the orders are available for public inspection online by visiting:
