CROYDON COUNCIL DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES - SCHEDULE 212 The Croydon (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Loading and Waiting) and (Free Parking Places) (Amendment No. K96) Order 20-The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No.K97) Order 20-
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council proposes to make the above Traffic Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.
1. The general effect of the Orders would be to:
a) Revoke the disabled parking places In the vicinity of 7 Borough HIM, Croydon, 82 Burlington Road, Thornton Heath, 143 Bynes Road, South Croydon, 108 Grange Road, South Croydon, 61 Quadrant Road, Thornton Heath, and 30 Torridge Road, Thornton Heath.

b) Designate new parking places at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons' badge may be left without charge or time limit in the following locations.

c) Amend the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders so as to accurately represent the new parking arrangements as they exist on site.

2. A copy of the proposed Orders and of all related Orders, of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders and of the plans which indicate each length of road to which the Orders relate, can be inspected between 9am and 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, at the Enquiry Counter, 'Access Croydon' Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA. 3. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the, Parking Design section, Place Department, 6th Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1 EA or by emailing Parking.Design@croydon.gov.uk quoting the reference: PD/CH/K96 & K97 by 12 November 2020.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 CROMWELL ROAD, CROYDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a new water service connection, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Cromwell Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Cromwell Road will be closed at its junction with Whitehorse Road.

3. Whilst the restriction is in place the diversion routes for traffic will be as follows, as appropriately signed.

- Northbound Diversion - via Devonshire Road and Whitehorse Road.

- Southbound Diversion - via Whitehorse Road, St James Road, Hogarth Crescent, Whitehorse Road and Devonshire Road.

4. The Order will come into operation on 24 October 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately two days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 EDGEHILL ROAD & PAMPISFORD ROAD, PURLEY NOTICE OF TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate sewer connection works they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Edgehill Road and Pampisford Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-

a) Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) will be prohibited from turning right into Edgehill Road from Pampisford Road; and

b) HGVs will be prohibited from turning left into Pampisford Road from Edgehill Road.

3. Whilst the restriction is in place the diversion routes for HGV traffic will be:

a) for HGVs banned from turning right into Edgehill Road - via Edgehill Road, Purley Way and Waddon Way.

b) for HGVs banned from turning left into Pampisford Road - via Edgehill Road, Purley Way and Pampisford Road

4. The Order will come into operation on 23 October 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately 21 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984 SECTION 14, AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING GREENWOOD ROAD, CROYDON
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in Greenwood Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:

a) Greenwood Road will be closed between its junction with St Saviour's Road and a point 15 metres south-west of that junction;

b) Parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time" on both sides of the entire length of Greenwood Road. The parking suspension will be staggered and applied in three sections, with only one section in operation at a time.

3. During the closure the diversion routes for traffic will be via St Saviour's Road, Lodge Road and Greenwood Road and vice versa, or via St Saviour's Road, Elmwood Road and Greenwood Road.

4. The Order will come into operation on the 23 October 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately six weeks. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) A vehicle involved in the said works;

(b) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 NOTICE OF TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING APSLEY ROAD & BELFAST ROAD, SOUTH NORWOOD
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that due to the likelihood of danger to the public during the current Covid-19 pandemic, they have made an Order for a purpose connected to the coronavirus, which is to give residents more space to walk and cycle, help improve fitness and address problems caused by excess traffic.

2. Whilst the Order remains in force its effect will be that:

a) Apsley Road will be closed to vehicular traffic (except pedal cycles) at its junction with Albert Road;

b) Belfast Road will be closed to vehicular traffic (except pedal cycles) at its junction with Albert Road;

c) The existing double yellow lines prohibiting waiting at any time at the junction of Apsley Road with Albert Road will be extended by 10 metres south-westwards to form a turning area;

d) The existing double yellow lines prohibiting waiting at any time at the junction of Belfast Road with Albert Road will be extended by 5 metres south-westwards to form a turning area.

3. The Order will come into operation on 23 October 2020 and will remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months.

4. Whilst the closures are in place the diversion route for north-eastbound traffic will be via Sandown Road (only outside School Pedestrian Zone hours i.e. 8 - 9:30am and 2 - 4pm; School Pedestrian Zone to be implemented sometime next month), Ferndale Road and Belmont Road. For south-westbound traffic the diversion route will be via Watcombe Road, Oakley Road (only outside School Pedestrian Zone hours i.e.

8 - 9:30am and 2 - 4pm; School Pedestrian Zone to be implemented sometime next month) and Dundee Road.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(b) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a civil enforcement officer;

(c) a vehicle being used for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS PRIDDY'S YARD, CROYDON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIAN AND VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate Vodafone works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit pedestrian and vehicular traffic movements in Priddy's Yard, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall proceed or cause any vehicle to proceed in Priddy's Yard at its junction with Church Street.

3. The alternative route for diverted vehicular traffic and pedestrians will be via Frith Road.

4. The Order will come into operation on 23 October 2020 and the Order will remain in force for 18 months should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 WATERHOUSE LANE (BRIDLEWAY 42) KENLEY NOTICE OF TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Waterhouse Lane.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Waterhouse Lane will be closed between its junction with Caterham Drive and a point 10 metres north­east of that junction.

3. The Order will come into operation on 26 October 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately two weeks. However, the Order will remain in force for 6 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

4. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle or person involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 BENSHAM GROVE, THORNTON HEATH TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main connection works by SGN, they intend to make an Order to the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking in Bensham Grove, Thornton Heath.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place parking in Bensham Grove will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time:-

- On the north-east side outside Nos. 30 to 40 Bensham Grove; and

- On the south-west side outside Nos. 47 to 59 Bensham Grove.

3. The Order will come into operation on 09 November 2020 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within ten days between 8am and 4pm. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
