Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Abingdon Footpath 100/25/10 & Thames Path National Trail

Date of Order: 11 January 2021 Coming into force: 18 January 2021 This Order is being introduced because of the Science Vale Cycleway Improvement Scheme - works which are anticipated to be completed on 31 March 2021. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily Footpath No. 100/25/10 and the Thames Path National Trail at the northeast of Abbey Meadows. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of footpath. Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. There is no nearby off-road diversion route. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref.T8129/RAG)_

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Didcot, Sires Hill Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 25 January 2021 Coming into force: 4 February 2021 This Order is being introduced because of the installation of fibre optic cables which is anticipated to be completed 1 April 2021. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in 2 lengths of Sires Hill. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via the A4130, Hadden Hill, Abingdon Road, Lady Grove, Sires Hill and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
