Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Clifton Hampden, High Street

Prohibition of Through Traffic

Date of Order: 1 March 2021 Coming into force: 8 March 2021 This Order is being introduced because of repairs to traffic signals and embankments which are anticipated to be completed on 5 April 2021. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the whole length of High Street. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of roadThe alternative route for traffic is via the High Street, A415 Abingdon Road, Tollgate Road, Appleford Road, B4016, Main Road, B4016, Sires Hill, Saxons Heath, Didcot Road, High street and vice versa.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref.T8291/RAG)

This will operate between 07:00 and 19:00. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding or waiting in the High Street. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via the High Street, A415, Tollgate Road, Abingdon Road, Appleford Road, B4016, Sires Hill, Saxons Heath, Didcot Road, High street and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref T8356/AC)

Tetsworth, Thame Road (B4012) Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 1 February 2021 Coming into force: 22 February 2021 This Order is being introduced because of carriageway repair works which are anticipated to be completed 9 May 2021. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the length of the B4012 south of Thame. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic affected by the closure is via the A40, A329, A418, B4012, and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref.T8280/AC)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

North Hinksey, Westminster Way Temporary Weight Limit Suspension

Date of Order: 15 February 2021 Coming into force: 20 February 2021 This Order is being introduced because of a diversion for delivery vehicles due to an ongoing road closure in Westminster Way. The anticipated finish date for the suspension is 31 August 2021. The effect of the Order is to temporarily suspend the 7.5 tonne weight limit on Westminster Way at its junction with the A34 for southbound traffic only. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. The relevant part of the Oxfordshire County Council (Westminster Way, Botley) (Prohibition of Heavy Commercial Vehicles) Order 1993 will be temporarily suspended.
