1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The general effect of the Orders would be:

(a) to provide a designated disabled persons parking place measuring 6.6 metres In length (unless otherwise specified in the Schedule to this Notice) in each of the locations specified In Schedule 1 to this Notice, in most cases replacing advisory disabled persons parking places, on the carriageway, footway or both;

(b) where any proposed designated disabled persons parking place referred to in sub-paragraph (a) above is longer than the advisory disabled persons parking place it is replacing or where there Is no existing advisory disabled persons parking place in the proposed location, to shorten or remove any existing parking place or waiting restriction in that location by the length necessary to provide the disabled persons parking place;

(c) remove either advisory or formalized disabled person's parking place In each of the locations specified in Schedule 2 to this Notice and either extend existing permit parking space or waiting restriction in that location by the length necessary in place of the disabled persons parking place;

(d) to provide a designated disabled persons parking place measuring 6.6 metres in length outside No. 62 (1 bay), Dunton Road, E10 and remove an 'SB' permit holders parking place outside No. 64 Dunton Road and replace it with single yellow line 'controlled hours' waiting restrictions; and

(e) relocate a 6.6 metres designated disabled persons parking place outside Nos. 1 and 3 Eatington Road E10 north-eastward by 5 metres so that its north-eastern edge is in line with the north-east facing wall of No. 1 Eatington Road and extend existing permit parking space by the same distance outside No. 1 and 3

[Note: If these proposals were to go ahead then it is intended that any proposal in a location referred to in this Notice that is within an experimental CPZ would not proceed until such time and under such circumstances as the provisions of the experimental Traffic Order for the CPZ in question were continued in force indefinitely by way of a permanent Traffic Order.]

3. A copy of the Orders, the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders and plans showing the locations and effect of the Orders can be inspected until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, on request by either emailing
