Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Marcham, North Street Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 2 August 2021 - Coming into force: 9 August 2021 This Order is being introduced because of 7 new water connections which is anticipated to take 8 days to complete. The effect of the order is to temporarily prohibit vehicles using the section of North Street south of New Road, Marcham. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services, the Works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via North Street - Howard Cornish Road - Packhorse Lane - North Street and vice-versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref.T9113/MR)

Milton, Milton Hill Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 19 July 2021 - Coming into force: 26 July 2021 This Order is being introduced because of drainage and carriageway works which is anticipated to take 6 weeks to be completed. The effect of the order is to temporarily prohibit vehicles using the section of Milton Hill from Trenchard Avenue to Mitchell Way. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services, the Works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Trenchard Avenue, A4130, Abingdon Road, Milton Hill and vice-versa. Radley, Church Road Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 5 July 2021 - Coming into force: 26 July 2021 This Order is being introduced because of installation of foul sewer and connection in carriageway works which are anticipated to take 6 weeks to be completed. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in part of Church Road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Foxborough Road, Whites Lane and vice-versa. Wallingford, St Georges Road Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 2 August 2021 - Coming into force: 9 August 2021 This Order is being introduced because of road improvements which are anticipated to be completed 27 August 2021 .The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in that part of St Georges Road between Millington Road and Barncroft. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic affected by the closure is via St Georges Road, Clapcot Way, St Nicholas Road, & Wilding Road. Wallingford Footpath No.390/55 Closure Date of Order: 12 July 2021 - Coming into force: 26 July 2021 This Order is being introduced because of bridge footway repair works which is anticipated be completed on13 August 2021. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily that part of Footpath No.390/55 at the North steps to Wallingford Bridge. Exemptions are included for emergency services and the Works. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. The alternative route is north of the footway of Wallingford Bridge and then the parallel Footpath 390/5/20 to steps and vice versa. The effect of the Order Is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the section of Orchard Way between Nos. 31 - 42. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are In force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to properly. The alternative route for traffic affected by the closure is via Orchard Way, Westfield Road and vice versa. Faringdon, Park Road and Station Road Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 2 August 2021 - Coming into force: 9 August 2021 This Order is being introduced because of carriageway resurfacing works which are anticipated to be completed 21 August 2021. This will operate between 20:00 and 06:00hrs. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in Park Road and Station Road to its junction with the B4019. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via the B4019, A420 and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref.T8682/AC)_

Denchworth, Hyde Road Prohibition of Vehicles Date of Order: 2 August 2021 - Coming into force: 9 August 2021 This Order is being introduced because of carriageway resurfacing works which are anticipated to be completed on 17 August 2021. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding or waiting in Hyde Road between its junctions with Northmead Lane and Brook Lane. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route is via Northmead Lane, Goosey Lane, the A417, Circourt Road and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
