CROYDON COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984 SECTION 14, AS AMENDED
THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
CECIL ROAD, CROYDON
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate utility connection works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Cecil Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Cecil Road will be closed at its junction with Thornton Road.

3. During the works the alternative routes for diverted traffic will be as follows, as appropriately signed.

- Thornton Road, northbound - Thornton Road, Thornton Avenue and Brading Road.

- Thornton Road, southbound - Thornton Road, Lombard Roundabout, Mitcham Road and Brading Road.

- Brading Road, northbound - Brading Road, Thornton Avenue and Thornton Road.

- Brading Road, southbound - Brading Road, Mitcham Road, Lombard Roundabout and Thornton Road.

4. The Order will come into operation on the 10 September 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(b) Any vehicle involved in the said works;

(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CHURCH ROAD, UPPER NORWOOD
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC AND PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a tower crane installation, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements and parking in Church Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place,

a) no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Church Road between no.63 and no.69a.

b) ten parking bays and one disabled bay will be temporarily suspended between no.25 and no.64 Church Road.

c) introduce any other traffic restrictions as required, where this is considered necessary to facilitate the work in progress.

3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via Anerley Hill, Croydon Road and South Norwood Hill as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 26 October 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 2 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

HAYNES LANE, UPPER NORWOOD
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate the installation of utility services, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Haynes Lane, Upper Norwood.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Haynes Lane between no.4 Haynes Lane and no.15 Haynes Lane.

3. The Order will come into operation on the 13 September 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 5 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

4. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

WALPOLE ROAD, WELLESLEY COURT ROAD & WELLESLEY GROVE, CROYDON
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a crane operation they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Walpole Road, Wellesley Court Road and Wellesley Grove, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:

a) Walpole Road will be closed to vehicular traffic between a point 10 metres north of the northern kerb-line of the vehicular entrance to Southern House and the south-western end of Walpole Road;

b) The north-western footway of Walpole Road will be closed between a point 10 metres north of the northern kerb-line of the vehicular entrance to Southern House and the south-western end of Walpole Road and pedestrians will be diverted to the opposite footway;

c) Parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time" in Walpole Road, Wellesley Court Road and Wellesley Grove, Croydon.

3. The Order will come into operation on 11 September 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out over two days (back up dates of 18 and 19 September 2021 will apply if works are delayed). However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

BIGGIN WAY, NORBURY
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works which involve clearing blockages in the carriageway, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Biggin Way, Norbury.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Biggin Way between no.3 Biggin Way to the junction with Virgina Road.

3. The Order will come into operation on the 25 October 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 3 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

4. Whilst the closure is in place the alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Virginia Road, Brickfield Road, Biggin Way, Beulah Hill and Downsview Road.

5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate inspection works of the carriageway, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Station Road, West Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Station Road between its junctions with London Road and Wellesley Road.

3. The Order will come into operation on the 25 September 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 2 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

4. Whilst the closure is in place the alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Park Lane, Wellesley Road, St James's Road and London Road.

5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
