DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES - SCHEDULE 217a
The Croydon (Prohibition and Restriction of Stopping, Loading and Waiting)
and (Free Parking Places) (No.14) Order 2021 The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (No.14) Order 2021 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 27 September 2021 made the above Traffic Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.
1. The general effect of the Orders will be:-

(a) To designate a new parking place at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons' badge may be left without charge or time limit in the following location.

Whitgift Street, Croydon Outside No.4 Whitgift Street
Selhurst Place, Croydon
Outside No.20 to No.42 Selhurst Place

(b) To amend the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders so as to accurately represent the new parking arrangements as they exist on site.

2. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 25 October 2021, and of all associated Orders can be inspected from 9am to 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, at the "Access Croydon" Facility, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA.

3. Copies of the Orders may be obtained from the Parking Design Team, 6th Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon CR0 1EA.

4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 27 September 2021 made the above Traffic Orders under Sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Orders will be to>

(a) introduce a free Controlled Parking Zone in the roads and sections of road specified in the heading of this Notice with free unrestricted parking bays in locations where parking is appropriate and 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, single yellow line waiting restriction outside of the parking bays;

(b) introduce seven metre lengths of double yellow line "at any time" waiting restrictions at the junctions of Fryston Avenue with Carlyle Road and Carlyle Road with Cheyne Walk;

(c) amend the map-based tiles to the Schedule attached to the above Orders so as to accurately represent the new parking arrangements as they exist on site.

3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 04 October 2021, and of all associated Orders can be inspected by appointment from 9am to 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, at the "Access Croydon" Facility, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1 EA.

and (Free Parking Places) (Amendment No.V30) Order 20-The Croydon (On-Street Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No.V31) Order 20-
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council proposes to make the above Traffic Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.
1. The general effect of the Orders would be to:

a)
Revoke the disabled parking places in the vicinity of No.177 Bensham Lane, Thornton Heath, No.12 Enmore Avenue, South Norwood No.49 Everton Road, Croydon, No.116 Kingsdown Avenue, South Croydon, No.152 Kingsdown Avenue, South Croydon, No.66 Lucerne Road, Thornton Heath, No.9 Lynwood Gardens, Croydon, No.24 Tylecroft Road, Norbury, No.63 Watcombe Road, South Norwood, No.8 Zermatt Road, Thornton Heath.

b)
Designate new parking places at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons' badge may be left without charge or time limit in the following locations.

3. A copy of the proposed Orders and of all related Orders, of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders and of the plans which indicate each length of road to which the Orders relate, can be inspected between 9am and 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, at the Enquiry Counter, 'Access Croydon' Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1 EA. CROYDON COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14, AS AMENDED TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR OR PEDESTRIAN ACCESS AND TEMPORARY PARKING RESTRICTIONS

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate essential highway maintenance works that may take place within the London Borough of Croydon, they have amended The Croydon (Highways Maintenance Works) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular and Pedestrian Traffic and Parking Order) 2021, the effect of which would be to allow the following measures to be introduced, providing that the relevant permissions have been granted by the Council, in relation to any street listed in the Schedule to this Notice for which Croydon Council are the highway authority:

(a) temporarily introduce one-way traffic for the duration of the works in those streets or lengths of streets;

(b) temporarily close to vehicular traffic those streets or lengths of streets;

(c) temporarily close any adjoining streets to vehicular traffic where this is considered necessary to facilitate the work in progress;

(d) temporarily introduce banned turns, footway closures or waiting and loading restrictions at any time should this be required; and

(e) temporarily suspend bus lanes/stops, cycle lanes, parking bays or any other traffic restriction as required where this is considered necessary to facilitate the work in progress.

2. Wherever the work happens to be in progress, no person may cause or permit any vehicle to:-

(a) proceed in a direction other than that indicated by a traffic sign, or

(b) proceed in any street or length of street which may at the time be subject to a road closure until the completion of the work allows.

3. Whilst the provisions of the amended Order remain in force, waiting or loading by vehicles would be prohibited at any time in those streets or lengths of streets specified where work is in progress. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction on waiting imposed by this Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

4. All works requiring a road closure will be advertised complete with any diversion route on our website at the address below.

5. Frontages affected by the above restrictions will receive notification letters approximately two weeks before any works commence.

6. The amended Order will come into operation on the 01 October 2021 and will remain in force until 30 October 2022,18 months from the operational date of the original Order.

(Note: The provisions of the Order will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016. (Access for frontagers would be maintained whilst the work proceeds).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS BROAD GREEN AVENUE. CROYDON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate cover replacement works on behalf of Thames Water they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Broad Green Avenue.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Broad Green Avenue will be closed at its junction with London Road.

3. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative route for traffic will be via London Road, Campbell Road and Broad Green Avenue, as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 18 October 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in one day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 CROHAM ROAD. SOUTH CROYDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a detailed examination of the railway bridge, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular and pedestrian traffic in Croham Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-

(a) the northern footway of Croham Road will be closed for a distance of 20 metres either side of the railway bridge;

(b) the carriageway of Croham Road will be closed for a distance of 20 metres either side of the railway bridge.

3. Whilst the footway closure is place pedestrians will be directed to the opposite footway. The alternative route for vehicular traffic during the closure will be via Croham Road, St Peter's Road (B274), Coombe Road (A212), South Park Hill Road and Croham Road and vice versa.

4. The Order will come into operation on 20 October 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed overnight between 10pm and 6am. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 CROFT ROAD. NORBURY TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works to re-lay a service pipe on behalf of Thames Water, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in Croft Road, Norbury.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:

a) Croft Road will be closed to pedestrian and vehicular traffic outside No. 46 Croft Road.

b) Parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply at any time on both sides of the road outside No. 46 Croft Road.

3. Whilst the footway closure is in force outside No. 46 Croft Road, pedestrians will be diverted to the opposite footway. The diversion route for vehicular traffic will be via Croft Rd, Covington Way, Norbury Hill, Green Lane and reversed, or via Croft Road, Bigginwood Road, St. Oswald's Road, Green Lane and reversed, as appropriately signed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 18 October 2021 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
