Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Lockinge, unnamed road, West Lockinge Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 25 October 2021 Coming into force: 1 November 2021 This Order is being introduced because tree surgery works which are anticipated to be completed 12 November 2021. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the unnamed road in West Lockinge, from the Junction of A417 to the unnamed road north of East Lockinge, weekdays between 08:00 and 17:00. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services, for Works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via the unnamed road toward East Lockinge, unnamed road from East Lockinge towards A417 and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref. T9426/AC)

Steventon, B4017 - High Street Prohibition of Through Traffic

Date of Order: 25 October 2021 Coming into force: 1 November 2021 This Order is being introduced because of survey works which are anticipated to be completed 7 November 2021. This will operate weekdays between 09:30 and 15:30. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in High Street, Steventon. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included tor emergency services, tor Works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Hanney Road, A338, A417, B4017, A4130 and vice versa. This Order will remain in force tor a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref. T9306/AC)

Dorchester-on-Thames, Queen Street Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 25 October 2021

Coming into force: 1 November 2021 This Order is being introduced because of fibre optic cabling works which are anticipated to be completed on 19 November 2021 .The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the whole length of Queen Street. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services, for Works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Martins Lane, High Street and vice versa. Watlington (Christmas Common), Hill Road Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 11 October 2021 Coming into force: 18 October 2021 This Order is being introduced because of removal of dead dangerous Ash trees infected with Ash Dieback overhanging highway in Hill Road which is anticipated to take 2 weeks to be completed. The effect of the order is to temporarily prohibit vehicles using the section of Hill Road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in torce. Exemptions are included tor

emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route tor traffic is via a combination of Hill Road - B4009 - B480 - Howe Road -B481 - NetrJebed Henley - Hill Road and vice-versa. Notice of Temporary Footpath Closure

Long Wittenham, Footpath 287/2/10

(Local name North Field Lane)

Date of Order: 26 April 2021

Came into force: 1 May 2021 This Order was introduced because of earthworks to facilitate wetland creation project (River of Life II) which started on 1 May 2021 for an anticipated closure duration of 6 months. The closure needs an extension to complete the earthworks. The extended end date of this closure is 1 January 2022.

The effect of the Order is to close temporarily Footpath No.287/2/10 southeast of Clifton Hampden (Local name North Field Lane). Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and tor pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of footpath. Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. A nearby local diversion route is signed. This Order, with the consent of the Secretary of State for Transport, will remain in force until 1 January 2022 or the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref. (DIDCOT AREA) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 20**

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the order, for road safety reasons specifically in connection with the residential development of adjacent land, due to an expected increase in vehicle and pedestrian/cycle movements in the area, is to introduce a 40mph speed limit in place of the National 60mph speed limit, as follows.

1.B4016 Lady Grove - from the Appleford junction

southwards to the existing 30mph speed limit; 2. Shires Hill and B4016 - from a point 350 metres east of trie Appleford junction, westwards for a distance of 800 metres.
