(DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES - OXFORD) (VARIATION N0.19) ORDER 2021
NOTICE IS GIVEN that on 22 November 2021 Oxfordshire County Council made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The order, which comes into force on 29 November further amends the Oxfordshire County Council (Disabled Persons Parking Places - Oxford) Order 2010 with the effect of removing Disabled Persons Parking Places (DPPPs) as shown at A below, some relocations at B, and providing new DPPPs at C. There are also minor administrative changes to clarify descriptions of some parking positions that are partially on a footpath.
A. Disabled Persons Parking Places to be removed: Brampton Road outside No.38, Ingle Close outside No.8, Mill Street Outside Nos.20/21.
B. Relocated places:
'Binsey Lane - moved 6 metres northwards.
C. New Disabled Parking Places proposed:
Northeast side; outside No.18
Northwest side; outside No. 8
Northwest side; outside No.33
North side; outside Lucas Remy Place - current bay doubled in length
East side; outside No.26_
South side; corner of the turning head_
Northeast side; outside No.8

Northeast side; alongside No.10 Verbena Way_

The adjustment to the Disabled Persons Parking place in Binsey Lane results in a change to road marking in that the short space vacated will be subject of double yellow lines (No Waiting).

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of this Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to this Order, you may within six weeks from 22 November 2021 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
